Traditional Welsh terraced holiday cottage with everything you need for your stay in the heart of the mountains. We have lovingly renovated this 18th Century cottage to cater for our 21st Century guests, whilst sympathetically maintaining the quirky appeal of the property.
We are passionate about supporting local tourism and reduce our impact on the environment. By choosing local suppliers and sustainable products wherever possible to lower the carbon footprint of your stay in the beautiful Bannau Brycheiniog National Park

The cottage enters from the street into the lounge, recently refitted with hard-wearing vinyl Karndeen flooring and provides comfortable seating for 4. A Smart TV is provided along with Super-fast broadband (c1650mbs). We have a full TV Licence and you are welcome log-in to your own streaming services.
To maximise space when not in use we provide 4 folding dining chairs and a gate-leg table which comfortably seats 4 people.
The window and front door have recently been replaced with triple glazing to ensure you remain cosy and minimise any potential road noise during your stay.
The cottage benefits from a fully fitted modern kitchen. Equipped with integrated hob, oven/grill, fridge-freezer, washer-dryer, microwave oven, air fryer, kettle, toaster and espresso coffee machine. You will also find all the utensils, crockery and glasses you would expect to make your stay a home-from-home.

We understand that getting a good night's sleep is a must when you are on holiday. We have invested in high quality mattresses and quality bed linen to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
There is plenty of space to hang/store your clothes while on holiday.
All rentals include bed linen and towels.
The second bedroom is furnished with a sturdy set of bunk-beds. As per Visit Wales recommendations the bunk-beds are firmly attached to the wall to reduce the risk of tipping. The room provides space to hang/store your clothes.
The bathroom has been fully refurbished to bring it up to 21st Century standards. A large step-in shower with integrated non-slip shower tray, full height towel radiator, vanity sink and illuminated mirror with integrated electric toothbrush and phone charger; you can really sing in the shower by connecting your phone to the Bluetooth speaker in the light fitting.

There is a small courtyard suitable for enjoying a glass or wine or gin! But why stay in when there are so many great places to dine out locally. Whether it's a Fish & Chip Supper from one of the 3 local fish bars or an a la carte dining experience at The Castle Hotel, Brecon offers cuisine for everyone's taste.
